Very Nice Church Window Pair, They're A Few Hairline Cracks. They Measure 57"x27" Each In The Original Pine Frame. These Were Salvaged From A Early 1900's Church In The Shreveport Louisiana Area 40 Or More Years Ago. These Candelabras Are In Good Condition, They Are Electrified. A Candelabra Is Signed Clodion. A Similar Pair Is Kept In The Louvre Museum, Another Was In The Living Room Of The Hotel De Tess, Quai Voltaire In Paris, Around 1910-1920, A Pair With A Different Base Is Kept In The Munich Residence. Born December 20, 1738 In Nancy And Died March 29 Mars 1814 In Paris, Is A Lorraine Sculptor, Then From 1766 French. He Probably Spent The Beginning Of His Life In Nancy And Lille. In 1755, He Entered Paris In The Studio Of His Maternal Uncle Lambert Sigisbert Adam, Sculptor. He Remained There Four Years, Then Became At The Death Of His Uncle A Pupil Of Jean-baptiste Pigal. He Is Known For His Mythological Groups Of Dancers, Nymphs Or Terracotta Bathers. He Also Executed Works Of Large Proportions.
